Tempsens provide wide range of ceramic tubes and insulators used in thermocouples, resistance thermometers and many other applications.
We mainly supply recrystallised alumina 99.7%, type KER 710(C-799) .
KER 710 is a pure oxide ceramic consisting of more than 99.7% Al2O3, with traces of MgO,Si2O and Na2O, which is fire resistant up to 1900°C and has a melting point of 2050°C. It is the best ceramic material, with an insulation resistance of 107Ω x cm at 1000°C and good strength under alternating temperatures, high thermal conductivity and relatively low thermal expansion.
There are many different diameters (outer and bore), various lengths of insulator available and different number of bores/ configurations are also available.
